On September 24, 2026, Blizzard updated its Collector’s Edition pre-purchase post to announce a restock of the World of Warcraft: Forever Collector’s Edition, with orders from the new batch expected to ship and arrive in February 2027. That is about three months after World of Warcraft: Forever launches on November 4, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. PST.
What Changed in the Update
Blizzard says it is making additional English versions of the box available in North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, “starting as early as today,” with exact timing varying by retailer. Two conditions come with it:
- Delivery after launch. Restock orders are expected to be shipped and delivered in February 2027, so this box will not be on your desk for launch night.
- One per household. The Blizzard Gear Store has a strict limit of one copy per household.
Australian and New Zealand buyers go through participating regional retailers rather than the Gear Store. When we checked the Gear Store listing on September 25, it priced the box at $150 USD and marked it out of stock, so availability may come and go depending on region and retailer.
What Is in the Box
The contents have not changed. The physical items are a 13-inch Dwarf and Bear statue, a Zephras Isle mousepad, art prints, collectible pins and a companion journal. The box also carries a Warcraft Forever Collection digital code, which bundles the Skyborne Epic Pack with Warcraft III: Reforged and Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom. That covers the Skyborne race and Zephras Isle starting experience, beta access, 30 days of Game Time, and cosmetics for both Forever and modern WoW.
What This Means for Players
The February delivery is the catch, because the Warcraft Forever Collection code is part of the physical box. Blizzard’s own suggestion for Collector’s Edition buyers who want the digital items sooner is to buy a digital Forever product on the Battle.net Shop now: some purchases qualify for a Battle.net Balance credit equal to the amount paid when you later redeem the Collector’s Edition code by December 31, 2027, though not every product or upgrade path qualifies.
