Borderlands 4 players cleared the Tough Love community challenge, and on September 28, 2026, Gearbox released a SHiFT code for the “Mint Chipset” Vault Hunter skin for Loveless the Hacker. The code, from Gearbox’s Steam announcement, is 3SX3J-3XZ55-CR33C-JBBJT-XH395.
The Details
The challenge ran over the weekend and asked Loveless players to rack up kills. Gearbox says they took down 48,783,633 enemies across Kairos, including the new island zone of Providence, which was enough to unlock the reward.
- Where to redeem: the SHiFT website or the SHiFT menu in Borderlands 4.
- How often: once per SHiFT account.
- Deadline: Gearbox’s terms say the code must be redeemed by December 31, 2030.
- What you need: a copy of Borderlands 4, a SHiFT account and an internet connection.
There is one catch. Anyone can redeem the code, but Gearbox says you need to own the Loveless the Hacker DLC to equip the skin on her.
The same post also re-shares the rewards from earlier community challenges, so latecomers can still claim them: the code from C4SH’s challenge, outfits for Harlowe, Rafa, Amon and Vex, and the February and March challenge skins.
What This Means for Players

If you are still deciding whether to buy her, Gearbox lists three routes. The Super Deluxe Edition includes both DLC Vault Hunters (C4SH and Loveless), Story Packs 1 and 2, the Ornate Order Pack and the Bounty Pack Bundle. If you already own the Standard or Deluxe Edition, you can buy the Vault Hunter Pack (both DLC Vault Hunters, Story Packs 1 and 2 and the Ornate Order Pack) or Loveless on her own.
