Date Everything! has sold more than one million copies worldwide since its June 2025 launch, developer Sassy Chap Games announced on November 5, 2026. The studio is celebrating with a charity livestream on Wednesday, November 18, for The Trevor Project and Doctors Without Borders.

The Details

Date Everything! is a dating sim where the household objects around you become romanceable characters. Team17 publishes it, and it is out on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Its voice cast runs past 100 actors, and the announcement names Felicia Day, Johnny Yong Bosch and Matthew Mercer among them.

Robbie Daymond, the game’s co-creator and Sassy Chap’s CEO, called the number “a truly unbelievable milestone for all of the talented artists and designers who poured their hearts and souls into this game.” His fellow co-creator Ray Chase, the studio’s chief creative officer, said the game “succeeded far beyond our wildest dreams.”

The livestream runs from 6 to 9 PM PST (9 PM to midnight EST) on November 18, on the official Date Everything! channels on Twitch, Instagram and TikTok. Sassy Chap says it will bring together the game’s creators, cast and fans, with the money raised going to the two charities.

The studio also says it is “exploring opportunities” to take its characters into “other areas of entertainment, products, and new storytelling experiences,” with Creative Artists Agency representing it. Director of Development and Production Julie Thompson said there is “still so much we’d love to explore” with Date Everything!, alongside new characters and worlds. The announcement does not name a new game, DLC or date.

What This Means for Players

Nothing changes in the game itself, but the stream is the place to be on November 18 if you want to hear the creators talk about what comes next, since the studio hints at more for the game without giving details. Before that, the game’s Steam news says Ray Chase and Robbie Daymond will be at its booth at Anime Pasadena, at the Pasadena Convention Center on November 7 and 8.

A million copies puts Date Everything! in the company of indie hits such as Buckshot Roulette, which has passed 10 million players.
