Dead by Daylight Update 10.3.0 Will Change Six Perks

Dead by Daylight Update 10.3.0 will adjust six perks and split Moris into three types, Behaviour Interactive said on October 22, 2026 in a Steam recap of that day’s October community stream. The studio gave no release date for 10.3.0.

The Details

Perk changes in 10.3.0, a follow-up to the 50-plus perks reworked in 10.2.0:

  • Calm Spirit: the Action Speed bonus rises to 25%.
  • Dark Sense: gains a token system so you can “bank” its activations instead of wasting them at a bad moment.
  • Dark Arrogance: Successful Basic Attack cooldown rises to 15%, Window Vault Speed drops to 15%, Missed Basic Attack cooldown is added to its penalties, and the penalties fall to 15%.
  • Ravenous: the Exposed duration drops to 70 seconds, since Vigil no longer affects Exposed.
  • Slippery Meat: Unhook Speed drops to 75%, while Haste rises to 7%.
  • Whispers: Haste rises to 7%.

Three kinds of Mori. Moris will become Finisher (the long, cinematic kill on the last Survivor), Power (a short “mini-Mori” set off by some Killers’ powers) and Short (set off by perks and offerings). Behaviour says this rolls out over time; for now, older Killers use their current Mori for both Finisher and Short.

Balance without a patch. A new “backend tunables” system lets the team change Killer numbers and base game values on live servers. The first targets named are faster charging and more range for The Executioner, and power cooldown and Zealous duration for The Judgment, “soon.”

Already live: an MMR adjustment made earlier this week raised how much Survivor altruism counts toward MMR.

What This Means for Players

Survivors who run Slippery Meat for risky unhooks lose some of that speed, but gain more Haste to get away. Calm Spirit and Whispers both get a straight buff.

Killers get a friendlier Dark Sense and a retuned Dark Arrogance, while Ravenous loses some of its Exposed window. Executioner and Judgment players should watch for changes that land between patches, with no download.

The stream comes in the middle of the Haunted by Daylight Halloween event, which runs to November 3 (see every other live event in our Halloween events roundup). Free cosmetics are on our Dead by Daylight codes page.
