Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is coming to PlayStation 5 on October 7, 2026, and to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on October 9, publisher Ghost Ship Publishing announced on September 29 during The Big Break Showcase. The announcement trailer also confirms that the single-player auto-shooter, developed by Funday Games, is already out on PC, mobile and Xbox.
Price and Platforms
The Nintendo eShop listing puts the Switch version at $12.99, the same price as on Steam and Xbox Series X|S. A PlayStation Store price hasn’t been published yet. The eShop listing is a Switch game, and the trailer says it comes to “Switch 1 & 2”, so Switch 2 owners can play it; neither mentions a separate Switch 2 edition.
The Knockout Expansion
Ghost Ship also revealed the Knockout Expansion, a paid DLC that its reveal trailer says brings “a brand-new class, a brutal new biome, a fresh mission type, and a lethal bundle of weapons”. Its Steam page lists it as coming soon, with no date or price. Some reports have named the new class and biome, but those names aren’t on the trailer or the store page, so we’re waiting for Ghost Ship to confirm them.
What This Means for Players
If you’ve been waiting to play it on PlayStation or Switch, you now have a date, and at $12.99 on Switch it’s an easy pickup. Anyone who already owns it on PC or Xbox can wait for the Knockout Expansion’s date and price.
The main game’s future got an update at the same showcase: Deep Rock Galactic’s next two seasons and first paid expansion.
