In Inzoi, aging is a core gameplay mechanic that progresses your Zoi through various life stages. However, with the latest updates, players now have the option to disable aging, allowing for a more controlled and personalized gameplay experience. This guide will walk you through the steps to stop aging in Inzoi.
Disabling Aging in Inzoi
As of the April 4, 2025 update, Inzoi introduced a feature that allows players to disable aging. This can be done through the game’s settings:
- Access Game Options: Pause the game and navigate to the Options menu.
- Navigate to Simulation Settings: Within the Options menu, select the Simulation tab.
- Adjust Aging Settings: Here, you’ll find options to toggle aging for your Zois and other Zois in the game. Set Aging (My Zois) and/or Aging (Other Zois) to Disable by clicking on the corresponding arrows.
This feature provides flexibility, allowing you to choose whether to halt aging for just your household or for all characters in the game.
Slowing Down Aging
If you prefer to slow down the aging process rather than stopping it entirely, Inzoi offers an option to adjust the length of in-game days:
- Access Game Options: Pause the game and navigate to the Options menu.
- Navigate to Simulation Settings: Within the Options menu, select the Simulation tab.
- Adjust Day Length: Find the Length of Day setting and choose from the available options:
- 48 minutes
- 96 minutes (default)
- 4 hours
- 24 hours
Selecting a longer day length will extend the duration of each life stage, giving you more time to enjoy each phase of your Zoi’s life.
Understanding Life Stages
Inzoi features nine distinct life stages, each with its own duration:
- Newborn: 1 day
- Toddler: 2 days
- Child: 7 days
- Adolescent: 5 days
- Teenager: 4 days
- Young Adult: 10 days
- Adult: 20 days
- Middle-Aged: 16 days
- Senior: Up to 35 days
These durations are based on the default day length setting. Adjusting the day length, as mentioned above, will proportionally extend each life stage.
With the ability to disable or slow down aging, Inzoi offers players greater control over their gameplay experience.
