Jurassic World Evolution 3: Prehistoric East is out now on all platforms, Frontier announced on September 29, 2026, alongside free Update 1.5 for every player, according to the official announcement. The DLC costs $14.99 on Steam.

The Details

Prehistoric East (paid DLC) is themed on East Asian architecture and landscapes:

  • Five dinosaur family units: Nanshiungosaurus, Gobisaurus, Yangchuanosaurus, Sinosauropteryx and Tarbosaurus.
  • Holographic dinosaur statues, a first for the series, each with a choice of animations, placeable on their own or inside custom blueprints.
  • New scenery: bronze Dragon Statues and marble Guardian Lions, new wall, roof and trim pieces, and ready-made blueprints with pagodas, gates and walled gardens.

Update 1.5 (free for everyone):

  • Walkway Attraction. Raised paths that guests can use to cross obstacles and view dinosaurs. Walkways can go over land, enclosures and water, including lagoons and aviaries, and they improve your park’s transport rating.
  • Carcharodontosaurus returns as a family unit with a redesigned look. Frontier says its original Jurassic World Evolution 2 appearance stays available as an adult variant option.
  • A batch of fixes.

What This Means for Players

Everyone should update, because Walkways are the headline change, and they are free. Being able to run guest paths over enclosures and water changes how tight you can build a park, and the transport rating boost means they are more than decoration.

The DLC is the easy call if you build themed parks, since the scenery and holographic statues are what set it apart. If you mostly care about new species, five family units for $14.99 is the whole pitch.
