Warframe: How to Get Incarnon Weapons

A Warframe floats through space firing a huge heavy gun in Warframe

There are two kinds of Incarnon weapons in Warframe. Incarnon Genesis adapters upgrade weapons you already own: earn up to two a week from The Circuit with the Steel Path turned on, then have Cavalero in the Chrysalith on the Zariman install them. Natural Incarnon weapons are built from scratch, most of them from blueprints Cavalero sells for Holdfasts standing.

For Genesis adapters you need The Duviri Paradox finished and the Steel Path unlocked (our guide on how to unlock the Steel Path has the full checklist). For the Zariman weapons you need the Angels of the Zariman quest. Below: both routes, the full nine-week Genesis rotation, how installing works, and how to wake up an Incarnon form.

Route 1: Incarnon Genesis Adapters From the Steel Path Circuit

The Circuit is Duviri’s endless mode. Run it with the Steel Path modifier on, and its reward track offers Incarnon Genesis adapters at two tiers:

  • Tier 5: pick your first Genesis of the week from that week’s five options.
  • Tier 10: pick a second one.

So a full week of Steel Path Circuit runs gives two adapters. The selection changes at the weekly reset (Monday at 00:00 UTC), and the five options rotate through nine weeks before repeating.

If you would rather skip the grind, Cavalero’s Incarnon Market (it opens once you have the Steel Path) sells each of the current week’s adapters once for 120 Platinum, with the resources needed to install it included. Our guide on getting Platinum without paying covers how to earn that Platinum by trading.

The Genesis Rotation

As of the current update, the nine weeks of the Steel Path Circuit rotation are:

Week Incarnon Genesis options
1 Braton, Lato, Skana, Paris, Kunai
2 Boar, Gammacor, Angstrum, Gorgon, Anku
3 Bo, Latron, Furis, Furax, Strun
4 Lex, Magistar, Boltor, Bronco, Ceramic Dagger
5 Torid, Dual Toxocyst, Dual Ichor, Miter, Atomos
6 Ack and Brunt, Soma, Vasto, Nami Solo, Burston
7 Zylok, Sibear, Dread, Despair, Hate
8 Dera, Sybaris, Cestra, Sicarus, Okina
9 Vectis, Stug, Ballistica, Destreza, Obex

Week 9 is the newest: Update 43.0 added the Stug, Vectis, Ballistica, Destreza and Obex adapters in June 2026. The Circuit screen always shows the current week’s five, so check it before you plan around a specific weapon.

How to Install a Genesis Adapter

  1. Own the weapon the adapter is for. Adapters fit the named weapon and the variants DE lists for it, such as Prime versions (the Vectis Genesis works on the Vectis and Vectis Prime; the Ballistica Genesis on the base, Prime and Rakta versions).
  2. Gather the Duviri resources Cavalero asks for. The install screen shows the exact cost for each adapter.
  3. Talk to Cavalero in the center of the Chrysalith and install it.

Cavalero can also take an adapter back out and return it to you, but the Duviri resources spent on the install are not refunded.

Route 2: Natural Incarnon Weapons

These are Incarnon from the start, with four or five Evolution tiers each.

Zariman weapons, from Cavalero after the Angels of the Zariman quest, paid for in Holdfasts standing:

Blueprint Holdfasts rank Standing cost
Laetum Rank 0, Neutral 3,000
Innodem Rank 1, Fallen 5,500
Phenmor Rank 2, Watcher 6,000
Felarx Rank 3, Guardian 8,000
Praedos Rank 4, Seraph 9,000

They carry high Mastery Rank requirements (the Laetum needs Mastery Rank 14), and their blueprints can be traded.

Sanctum Anatomica weapons: the Onos pistol and Ruvox fists, after Whispers in the Walls and The Deadlock Protocol. Their parts drop from Armatus and Deimos rotation rewards, or you can buy them from Loid with Vessel Capillaries, which Armatus Demolishers drop.

Duviri: the Thalys heavy scythe, added in Update 39.0. Run Isleweaver in Duviri (it needs The Hex quest) for Scuttler Husks, then buy the blueprint for 96 Scuttler Husks from Acrithis or Dominus Thrax in the Dormizone. It needs Mastery Rank 12.

How to Unlock Incarnon Forms and Evolutions

An Incarnon weapon’s power is its Incarnon Form, a second mode you charge up in a mission:

  • Primary and secondary weapons charge it with hits on headshots and weak points (the Angstrum and Torid charge on direct hits instead). Since Update 44.0, DE has been converting “on headshot” triggers across the game to “on weak point”.
  • Melee weapons need a melee combo of 6x (5x for the Innodem) followed by a Heavy Attack, and the form then lasts a set time.

Each weapon also has Evolution tiers that unlock as you finish challenges shown on its Incarnon screen. For Genesis weapons, installing the adapter counts as the first tier, and each later tier lets you choose a perk.
