Concrete in Pokemon Pokopia is made by processing Limestone in a Concrete Mixer, operated by a Pokemon with the Crush specialty. The rule that trips people up: the mixer must be placed near a water source or it will not run at all.
Getting the Mixer
The Concrete Mixer recipe costs 2 Iron Ingots, and you learn it by speaking with Conkeldurr during the Sparkling Skylands main story.
Conkeldurr is attracted by building its habitat out of iron scaffolding and iron pipes, materials gathered at Tinkaton’s tower. Since Conkeldurr also has the Crush specialty, befriending it solves both halves of the problem at once: the recipe and the worker.
Other Crush Pokemon include Onix, Steelix, Geodude, Graveler, Golem and Tyranitar.
Placement Matters
Put the mixer beside water. The game will tell you whether a placement is valid, so if it refuses to accept a spot, that is why rather than a bug.
This is worth planning around before you start hauling Limestone: pick a lakeside or riverside corner of your town and build your processing area there. Where Limestone Comes From
Two dependable sources:
- The hot spring cave in Rocky Ridges.
- Sparkling Skylands, near where you meet Tinkaton beneath the tower. Look for the tan blocks with wavy lines.
