Schedule 1: How to Assign a Bed

Assigning beds in Schedule 1 might not sound glamorous, but it’s a crucial part of keeping your operation running smoothly. As your empire grows, you’ll bring in more dealers, workers, and staff who need a place to crash. Managing their living quarters keeps your crew happy, productive, and less likely to quit or cause problems. Here’s how to assign a bed in Schedule 1 the right way.

To assign a bed, first make sure you’ve placed one inside a safehouse or hideout. You’ll need to enter build mode, which you can access via the main management menu—just look for the home or layout icon. Once you’re in build mode, select a bed from your furniture tab and place it inside a livable area.

After placing the bed, click on it (or press the interaction key if you’re using a controller) to bring up the bed assignment menu. From here, you’ll see a list of available crew members who currently don’t have a bed assigned. Simply select the one you want to assign the bed to and confirm.

Each bed can only be assigned to one crew member, so if you’re trying to fit more people into a limited space, you’ll need to buy bunk beds or expand your living area. Crew members without a bed may become fatigued faster, complain, or even leave your operation if their needs aren’t met—especially if you’re running a high-stress business.

Pro tip: Assign higher-tier or long-term crew members to the best beds in your best safehouses. It’ll increase their loyalty and morale over time. Dealers and staff with high loyalty are less likely to rat, more willing to take on risky tasks, and better at maintaining customer relationships.

Keeping your team well-rested is just one more way to stay ahead of the game in Schedule 1.
