Birth by Sleep Final Mix has the biggest gap between story and completion. It has three separate campaigns (Terra, Ventus and Aqua) plus a secret final chapter, and the completionist figure reflects clearing all of them along with its optional bosses and Command Board and Arena extras.
The Movie-Only Games and Short Entries
Two games in the HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX collection aren’t playable. 358/2 Days and Re:coded appear as cutscene compilations, and per HowLongToBeat players each takes about 3 hours to watch. The χ Back Cover film in HD 2.8 runs about an hour.
If you want to play those two DS games instead of watching them, HowLongToBeat lists the original Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days at about 26 hours for the story and Re:coded at about 16. You would need the original Nintendo DS versions, since neither has been re-released as a playable game.
Kingdom Hearts 0.2 is the shortest playable entry at around three hours for the story. It is a prologue to Kingdom Hearts III built in that game’s engine, so do not expect a full-length game.
