Transport Fever 3: Which Edition You Should Buy

For most players, the Standard Edition of Transport Fever 3 ($49.99 on PC, $59.99 on PS5 and Xbox) is the right buy: it is the complete game, and Urban Games itself calls the Deluxe Edition “an alternative version of the game with a few more cosmetic items.” Pick the Deluxe ($64.99 on PC, $74.99 on console) if you want its famous vehicles, landmarks and three extra maps, and the $119.99 Collector’s Edition only if you play on PC through Steam and want the physical memorabilia.

Below we break down every edition’s contents and price, the pre-order bonus, the Transport Fever 2 loyalty discount, and which edition suits which player. Prices and contents are from Paradox’s pricing, the official editions page and the store listings, for the launch release on September 29, 2026.

What the Standard Edition Includes

Everything that makes the game work. Per the editions page, Standard includes “the full Transport Fever 3 base game”: more than 300 vehicles, four climate zones (temperate, desert, tropical and sub-arctic), over 30 onshore and offshore industries, the campaign, the full Tycoon mode, the relaxed Sandbox mode and the map editor. What the Deluxe Edition Adds

Urban Games confirmed that “everything included in the standard edition is also included in the Deluxe edition.” On top of that, the editions page lists:

• Six legendary vehicles: Concorde, London Bus, Trans-Europe Express, Peterbilt 359, Hong Kong Tram and the Sikorsky S-76 Spirit helicopter.
• Two landmarks: the Eiffel Tower and the Taj Mahal.
• Four wild animals: Orca, Komodo Dragon, Boar Family and Bison.
• Three handcrafted maps: Redrock Bends (rivers and canyons), Northern Gates (fjords and islands) and Emerald Shores (volcanic islands).
• Extras: Tycoon Cars, three “Fun Elements” to discover in-game, and Franchise Soundtracks with music from the earlier games.

One discrepancy to know about: Paradox’s press release says the Deluxe Edition has “11 legendary vehicles,” while Urban Games, Steam and the editions page name six. Neither has explained the gap, so count on the six named vehicles.

Steam lists no separate Deluxe upgrade as of September 28, and Urban Games has not said whether one will be sold, so if you want the Deluxe content, buying it up front is the only confirmed route.

The Collector’s Edition

This is a physical box, sold only through the official merch shop, and initially limited to 10,000 copies. It contains:

• A digital Deluxe Edition key, emailed after you order
• A 13 cm hero statue
• A 200-page hardcover artbook showing every vehicle in the game
• A quartet card game with vehicle families
• A sticker sheet, a metal keychain and a double-sided poster
• A music box with a ticket for the complete soundtrack
• A thank-you card signed by the development team
• The pre-order bonus

Know the limits before you buy. Urban Games confirmed the Collector’s Edition includes “the Steam version of the game only,” so it is no use on PS5, Xbox, Epic or GOG. Paradox’s store page adds that “no physical game disc is included.” Shipping covers most major markets in Europe, the United States and Asia, and Urban Games told fans asking about Latin America, Australia and the UK that tax and customs rules limit where it can ship. The loyalty discount does not apply to it. The shop listed it as available on September 28.

The Pre-Order Bonus and the Loyalty Discount

Pre-order bonus. The official FAQ says pre-ordering gets you the Pre-Order Pack for free, with any edition. It contains the TS Queen Mary ocean liner, the Great Pyramid of Giza landmark and the Asian Elephant. Urban Games has not said whether the pack will be sold separately after launch.

Loyalty discount. Transport Fever 2 owners get 10% off the Standard or Deluxe Edition until 14 days after launch, on one condition: you must buy on the same store and account where you bought Transport Fever 2. Urban Games says copies given free to beta testers, gifted keys and keys from key-selling sites do not qualify, and that the PlayStation Store applies the discount silently, so you just see a lower price.

Which Edition You Should Buy

• New to the series or unsure: Standard. It is the whole game, and if it does not suit your PC, our Steam refund guide covers getting your money back.
