Yes, and it is already out: Aniimo launched on PS5 on September 16, 2026 (the evening of September 15 on the Americas server) as a free download from the PlayStation Store, the same day as PC and Xbox Series X|S. The iOS and Android versions followed on September 23.

Every Platform Aniimo Is On
Pawprint Studio’s launch announcement names “Windows PC, Steam, Epic Games Store, PS5, and Xbox,” and the mobile launch notice adds iOS and Android:

It is free on every one of them. Server launch times differed by region: the Americas server opened at 7pm PT on September 15, and Europe and Asia-Pacific opened on September 16.
You can also stream it. Pawprint says Aniimo supports Xbox Cloud Gaming through xbox.com/play, which the Xbox Store lists as included with Game Pass Essential, Premium and Ultimate. GeForce NOW support went live on September 17 for Free, Performance and Ultimate members, and the PlayStation Store lists cloud streaming on PS5 and PlayStation Portal for PS Plus Premium subscribers.
What the PS5 Version Includes
The PlayStation Store listing is PS5 only. It lists the game as free with optional in-game purchases, “Online play required,” four online players and Remote Play support, and it does not list a PS Plus requirement for online play. A free PlayStation Plus Pack add-on is available to PS Plus Essential members. Voice acting is in English, Japanese, Korean and Chinese, and it is rated Teen by the ESRB for fantasy violence and language.
Pawprint’s pre-download notice asks for 30 to 35 GB of free space on consoles and says the PS5 version installs only on the console’s internal SSD. The 1.1 update fixed custom Aniimo videos not playing on PS5 and made the in-game help pop-up open with a long press of the Option button.
Xbox and PC Versions
The Xbox Store listing covers Xbox Series X|S, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming, with Xbox Play Anywhere, 4K, HDR10, ray tracing and Dolby Atmos support, plus keyboard and mouse on console. It does not list Xbox One.
On PC, the Steam page is Windows only:
- Minimum: Windows 10 (64-bit), Intel Core i7-4770 or AMD Ryzen 7 2700, 8 GB RAM, GeForce GTX 970 or Radeon RX 5600, DirectX 11, 40 GB of storage.
- Recommended: Intel Core i7-10700 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600, 16 GB RAM, GeForce RTX 3060 or Radeon RX 6700.
Pawprint recommends installing on an SSD. Valve rates the game Playable on Steam Deck. Two official PC notes are worth knowing: if a controller does not work through Steam, the developer’s fix is to open the game in your Steam Library, go to Manage, Properties, Controller, choose “Disable Steam Input” and restart; and a September 14 notice blames crashes on some 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core desktop chips on Intel’s known instability issue, recommending a BIOS update with microcode 0x12B or later.
The Mobile Version
Aniimo arrived on the App Store and Google Play on September 23. Pawprint’s mobile FAQ asks for at least 18 GB of free storage, says a 60 FPS mode is available on all but a small number of lower-end devices, and says tablets get a large-screen mode automatically. On Android, a GPU without Vulkan 1.1 support can block installation. Some Google Play reviewers report being turned away at the title screen by a device check even on recent phones, so check the official spec list before downloading.
Cross-Progression and Cross-Play
Your progress follows your account, not your device, with one catch: servers. Pawprint’s FAQ says “Data on different servers is independent. Game progress is fully shared across all platforms within the same server.” The servers are Aniimo-Americas, Aniimo-Europe and Aniimo-Apac, so pick the same one on every device.
To carry an account between platforms, link an email. The first time you sign in with a third-party platform account such as Steam, the game shows a “Link Email” prompt; if you skip it, Pawprint warns you may lose progress and rewards tied to other accounts. One email can link several platform accounts, but each platform account links to only one email. There is also a small bonus: logging in on both PC and mobile earns Glimmer and other cross-platform rewards.
For playing together, the Steam and Xbox listings both advertise cross-platform multiplayer, and Pawprint splits its servers by region rather than by platform. The PlayStation Store listing does not mention cross-play either way. The money side is covered in our gacha and free-to-play guide.
Switch, PS4 and Xbox One
None of them has a version, and Pawprint has announced none. The PlayStation Store lists PS5 only, the Xbox Store lists Series X|S, and no Nintendo release has been mentioned in any official announcement.
