EA Sports FC 27 launched worldwide on September 25, 2026, opening the game to Standard Edition buyers after a week of Ultimate Edition early access. EA confirmed it in “EA SPORTS FC 27 is available now” on Steam; per EA’s official FC 27 site, PC unlocked on September 24 at 23:00 UTC and consoles at midnight local time on the 25th.
What Standard Buyers Get Now, and What They Missed
EA’s terms tie the Standard Edition’s bonus items to its pre-order offer, and that offer closed the moment the game launched. EA’s offer terms say it expired on September 24 at 23:00 UTC on PC and at midnight local time on September 25 everywhere else.
That offer included three ICONs or Heroes for Career Mode, a 5-star Coach and a 5-star Youth Scout for Manager Career, Pre-Order Challenges, The Grounds Signature Sweatsuit, a Tier 3 Amp inspired by Mbappe, and two Double AXP consumables for The Grounds. If you pre-ordered, all of it is yours, but you have to redeem it: EA says that means logging into Ultimate Team, logging into The Grounds, and creating a Career Mode save while connected to EA’s servers.
Ultimate Edition extras (the 6,000 FC Points in three drops, the Season 1 Premium Pass and the extra Evolution slot) are still sold with that edition, as EA’s launch post repeats. Its seven days of early access are now moot, since everyone can play.
What Changes From Early Access
Nothing resets. If you played the EA Play trial and now buy the game, EA says your progress carries over. The current build is version 1.0.1, which EA released on September 23. It fixed 5 Star Skill Moves not working in The Grounds street matches, Hot Join failures, high ping in League Matches, custom control presets dropping inputs, and a UI freeze in the Evolutions filter. It also raised the Jockey and Sprint Jockey speed sliders in Authentic Gameplay (Career Mode and Kick Off only) and made fatigue hit harder in The Grounds 11v11.
As of this writing, EA has not posted a separate launch-day title update or a known issues list on its Steam feed.
What This Means for Players
