The Reliable Sources
Kills in battle are the passive baseline. Nothing to manage.

Cai’s Farming
On Cai’s route you can farm crops on empty world map spaces. Choose a crop, let the field grow over time, and harvest it later. Fertilising raises the chance of rarer plants.
It is a genuine income stream rather than a novelty, and it rewards planning: plant early, travel, harvest on the way back. Cai’s route also has Kindness Quests that pay both gold and Renown.
If gold pressure is what is hurting you, Cai’s route is the one that eases it.
Where It All Goes
Gold does not accumulate, because the sinks are constant:
- Meals at inns, which build Support and restore Motivation
- Arena training, which costs gold and Motivation
- Licenses for certification exams, since class changing is a purchase

A Note on the Second Currency
