The Klombo Sprite in Fortnite has no spawn point Epic has confirmed: it drops at random from Cheat Codes (and, per the community wiki, chests), and Epic calls it very rare, so the way to get it is to open as many Cheat Codes as you can, favoring the higher-rarity Epic and Legendary ones. Once you have it, level it by healing, because it only gains XP from consumables that restore Health or Shield.

Which Season This Covers (and the Zero Point Sprite)
This guide covers Chapter 7 Season 4, Fortnite Override, as of the v42.20 update in September 2026. The Klombo Sprite arrived with the season’s launch update, v42.00. Sprites are seasonal content that rotates, and the community wiki lists Override as running until October 31, 2026.
That rotation is why the Zero Point Sprite is no longer obtainable. It was the Mythic Sprite of Season 3 (Runners), and late in that season Epic’s Fortnite Status account also offered it through the Sprite Spree quests, for extracting 20 Sprites. Per the community wiki, it has been vaulted in Battle Royale since v42.00. If you extracted one, it lives on in the Sprite Garden and your collection, and Epic has said past generations may return. For now, the Klombo is the rare Sprite to chase.
Where the Klombo Sprite Comes From
Epic’s v42.00 notes describe it as “a loyal friend” that “is very rare to find”. The sources that can produce it:
- Cheat Codes. Since the v42.20 update, Sprites of any rarity can drop from any Rare (blue) or Epic (purple) Cheat Code. Epic codes have significantly better odds of variants and higher-rarity Sprites, and Legendary (orange) codes are guaranteed to drop a variant, with an emphasis on higher rarities.
- Chests. The community wiki says Klombo Sprites have also dropped from Chests and Rare Chests since August 21.
- Other players. Epic’s notes say a Sprite that is not yet extracted is left behind when its carrier is eliminated, so an opponent holding one is another route.
- Bad luck protection. The v42.20 notes add that the longer you go without finding a new Sprite, the better your chances of a variant you do not already own.
Some sites claim specific spawn areas for it. Epic has not confirmed any, so treat named locations as rumors and treat every Cheat Code as a roll of the dice.
How to Farm Cheat Codes for It
Your odds scale with how many codes you open, and how many of them are higher rarity:
- Use Cheat Code Locators. Epic’s notes say this Gizmo points you to the nearest Cheat Code, and per the community wiki the season’s Sprite Mastery track hands out several.
- Prioritize purple and orange. Epic and Legendary codes are where rare drops cluster, so skip a blue code if a purple one is in reach.
- Enter codes quickly. Per the community wiki, Rare codes ask for four inputs, Epic for five and Legendary for six. A Cheat Master variant Sprite accepts every input as correct, which makes each code faster.
- Try Lobby Hacks. Epic’s notes say codes entered in the lobby’s Admin Panel can grant XP and Sprite Dust and even drop rare Sprite variants.

Per the wiki, every code you open also pays Sprite XP to your equipped Sprite, so the hunt levels the rest of your roster too.
How to Level and Master the Klombo
The Klombo breaks the usual rules. Epic’s notes say it grants random items at each level and can only be leveled by using consumable items that give Health or Shield. Chests and eliminations, the normal sources covered in our guide to leveling up Sprites, do nothing for it.
Per the community wiki, the XP scales with the Health or Shield you actually restore, so drinking a potion at full Shield earns nothing. Heal after fights rather than topping off, and pick up every healing item you pass; the wiki’s own examples are fish and Shield Potions. The wiki also says the items it grants improve in quality with each level.
At Level 5 the Klombo consumes itself, extracts automatically and returns to Level 1. Epic’s help center says this is intended and that the mastery stays recorded in your Sprite Mastery tab. Epic has also acknowledged a bug where some Klombos reset to Level 4 instead, with a fix promised. Once mastered, resummoning it costs half the Sprite Dust, which the wiki puts at 1,000 instead of 2,000.
Klombo Variants
Per the community wiki, the Klombo comes in four special variants on top of the base version:

The Bounty Hunter variants arrived on September 24. The Cheat Master Klombo is the collector’s favorite, since it speeds up the very Cheat Code grind that finds more Sprites.
