Some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 store bundles come with DMZ gameplay perks, Activision confirmed on November 5, 2026, in its Season 1 Battle Pass, BlackCell and store bundles Intel Drop. Activision calls them “DMZ+ Operators,” and they arrive with Season 1 at midnight ET on November 6 (9 PM PT on November 5).
The Details
A DMZ+ Operator skin, from the Vault Edition or a specific Store Bundle, carries a Permanent Prestige Trait in DMZ, but only while you use that exact skin. An Operator still holds three Prestige Traits at most, so a full Operator has to swap one out to use it. The traits named so far:
- Free Revive Pro: automatically repairs your first Wound and lets you tourniquet while Wounded. It comes with the Hollow Hunter, Bone Chiller II and Valkyrie bundles, and on the Vault Edition’s Price and Valeria skins.
- Die Hard Pro: reaching an exfil while in Last Stand calls it automatically, with infinite bleed out time and faster movement in Last Stand. It comes with The Captain bundle and the Vault Edition’s Special Forces skins.
- Field Crafting Pro: crafting straight from Common printer resources while deployed, at half the resource cost. It is on the Vault Edition’s Ghost and Blix skins.
Each of those four bundles also adds an extra DMZ Active Duty Operator slot and a DMZ Survival Kit.
BlackCell gets its own DMZ extras: an extra weapon and up to four pieces of equipment at the Forward Operating Base vendor, a daily reward such as printer ingredients (it does not stack, so a missed day is lost), and a Weapon Manual for each BlackCell Blueprint you earn, which lets you craft that base weapon in the DMZ Gunsmith. Vault Edition owners get BlackCell for Season 1 as long as they log in during the season.
What This Means for Players
Until now, Permanent Prestige Traits came from Operator Prestige, which costs 200,000 DMZ Cash plus gear the first time, as our DMZ traits guide explains. Now a few can be bought on a skin, and the Pro versions go further than the standard traits: Field Crafting Pro adds the 50% cost cut, and Free Revive Pro adds the tourniquet. If you play DMZ seriously, that changes the math on which edition to buy, because Vault Edition skins now carry three of these traits.
