Method 1: Create a Witch in Create-a-Sim
The easiest way to become a witch is during Sim creation.
- Start a new game or use “Edit Sim” through Edit Town mode.
- In Create-a-Sim, go to the Basics tab and click Supernatural Type.
- Choose Witch from the list.
- Customize your Sim like normal — witches can wear any clothing and don’t have a unique visual appearance until they use spells.
Witches made this way start with a magic wand and can cast spells immediately.
Method 2: Use the Bottled Witches’ Brew Elixir
This method allows you to turn any existing Sim into a witch.
- Purchase the elixir at the Elixir Consignment Store if it’s in stock.
- Or craft it using the Alchemy skill (requires level 9).
- Ingredients include: Moonstone, Toad, and Red Toadstool.
- Once acquired, have your Sim drink the elixir or throw it at another Sim to transform them.
This transformation is permanent unless another elixir (like the Potent Cure) is used.
Method 3: Use Mods (Optional)
If you use mods like NRaas Master Controller, you can directly assign the witch occult type.
- Click the Sim you want to change.
- Go to NRaas > Master Controller > Intermediate > Occult: Add > Witch.
Mods offer flexibility but should be used with caution to avoid conflicts.
What Witches Can Do
Once your Sim becomes a witch, they’ll gain access to a magical abilities bar and a wand.
- Cast Spells: Perform magic like Love Charms, Ice Blasts, and Fire Blasts.
- Ride Brooms: Witches can use flying brooms as a faster method of transportation.
- Duel Other Witches: Engage in magical duels for fun or bragging rights.
- Level Up Magic Skill: Casting spells, practicing magic, or using the Cauldron increases spellcasting proficiency.
- Use the Cauldron: Craft potions and elixirs with magical effects.
