World of Warcraft: Midnight’s 12.1.5 content update arrives October 13, 2026, with weekly maintenance, Blizzard announced on September 29. The features were first shown in September; the date, the full mid-season catch-up schedule and several new specifics are new today.

What’s in 12.1.5

  • The Unbinding of Kith’ix: a one-boss raid with Story, Normal, Heroic and Mythic difficulties, fought with Lady Liadrin at your side. On Mythic you face Kith’ix “with a flexible group of 15–25 players”.
  • The Labyrinth of Kindo’jan: “a massive, Delve-like gauntlet with nine chambers, a Tier 11 solo challenge, Mythic gear, cosmetics, titles”. Valeera Sanguinar is your companion, and you can tackle it one wing at a time.
  • Keystone Myth returns for Season 2. The “Midnight Keystone Myth: Season 2” achievement needs “a Mythic+ rating of 3600”, and some dungeons get tuning changes.
  • A new story campaign, “The Promise of Tomorrow”, across Quel’Thalas and Zul’Aman.
  • Aqir Invasions: “zone-wide public events taking place in Eversong or Zul’Aman” for ten minutes each hour, with six scenario types and one of eight affixes each time.

The Catch-Up Schedule

Blizzard also laid out how the rest of the season opens up:

  • Week of October 6: Orin Straylight offers one extra Nebulous Voidcore a week, after the quests “In the Catalyst’s Shadow” and “Prismatic Potential”. You can also trade the weekly Voidcore for gold, Voidlight Marl or Veteran Mistcrests.
  • Week of October 13: the quest “Ancient Depths, Ancient Venom” with the update itself.
  • Week of October 20: Ascendant Venomstones unlock. Collect ten to raise the item level of a fully upgraded Season 2 Hero or Myth weapon, trinket or necklace, or a max-level Tidal crafted one. They drop from Heroic and Mythic raid bosses, +10 and higher keys, Tier 11 Bountiful Delves and Nightmare Prey Hunt chests. The crest cap also lifts that week.

What This Means for Players

If you’ve fallen behind this season, the October 20 week is the one to plan around: uncapped crests and Venomstones together make it the easiest time to catch up. Solo players get the Labyrinth’s Tier 11 challenge with Mythic gear. When and Where

Patch 12.1.5 goes live October 13 with weekly maintenance, for World of Warcraft: Midnight on PC and Mac. The Voidcore changes start the week before.
