Kuro Games published the full update content for Wuthering Waves Version 3.7, “Prism’s Illusion, Heart’s Illumination,” on September 28, 2026, in an official update content notice confirming the planned September 30 (UTC+8) release. The version runs until November 12 and adds two new 5-star Resonators, a new area and a new permanent event.
Update maintenance is scheduled for September 30 from 04:00 to 11:00 (UTC+8), which is 4 PM to 11 PM Eastern on September 29, according to Kuro’s maintenance notice. Pre-download opened on September 28 at 10:00 (UTC+8), and Kuro asks for 46GB of free space on PC for a 26GB package. Anyone who unlocks the Mail feature before maintenance starts gets 300 Astrite and 2 Crystal Solvent as compensation, claimable until the next version update.
What Is in Version 3.7
- Story: Main Quest Chapter IV Act IV, “Simulacrum of the Heart,” plus a new Tales Quest, “Moonlike Heart, Mortal Longing.”
- New area: the Simulacrum Nexus of Mengzhou. Kuro’s second region preview, also posted September 28, calls it Xuanfang Hold’s control mainframe, the Manifold Sanctum, “governing the foundational order that keeps the city running.” It also introduces two Autopuppets “built solely for war,” the Formrender and the Soulfrayer.
- Events: “Blooms for the Shadow” is a new permanent event. “Cubie Wars,” a leisure event for Union Level 14 and up, lists 1,200 Astrite among its rewards, and the seven-day “Gifts of Waking Moon” login pays out 5 Radiant Tide and 5 Lustrous Tide from Union Level 8.
The Two Convene Phases
Phase one runs from the update until October 22 at 09:59 server time. It features the new 5-star Hsin alongside reruns for Chisa and Iuno, with Buling, Taoqi and Youhu as the featured 4-stars, plus a featured weapon banner for Blooming Jadehaven.
Phase two runs from October 22 at 10:00 until November 11 at 11:59 server time. It brings the new 5-star Suoming, reruns for Lucilla and Lynae, featured 4-stars Lumi, Danjin and Chixia, and a featured weapon banner for Unspoken Rue.
What This Means for Players
Unlock Mail before maintenance begins so the 300 Astrite compensation lands, then work through Cubie Wars (up to 1,200 Astrite) and the login event (ten Tides). If Suoming is the one you want, her banner does not open until October 22, which leaves about three weeks of phase one to save Astrite.
