Blue Archive is giving away up to 200 free recruitments from after its November 10 maintenance until November 17 at 1:59 AM UTC (November 16 at 8:59 PM ET), Nexon said in a notice on November 8. The giveaway lines up with the game’s 5-year anniversary and the new Makoto (Swimsuit) and Satsuki (Swimsuit) Unique Pick-Up Recruitments, which start after the same maintenance.
The Details
You get the recruitments by logging in during the event. They build up on this schedule, with new ones arriving at 7 PM UTC (2 PM ET):
| When | Added | Total |
|---|---|---|
| November 10, after maintenance | 110 | 110 |
| November 10, 7 PM UTC | 10 | 120 |
| November 11, 7 PM UTC | 10 | 130 |
| November 12, 7 PM UTC | 10 | 140 |
| November 13, 7 PM UTC | 20 | 160 |
| November 14, 7 PM UTC | 20 | 180 |
| November 15, 7 PM UTC | 20 | 200 |
The rules that matter:
- Missed days are safe. Nexon’s own example: a first login on November 16 at 7 PM UTC pays out all 200 at once.
- Pick-Up Recruitments only. Free recruitments cannot be spent on anything else, and single 1-Recruitments are not eligible.
- They expire. Unused free recruitments disappear on November 17 at 2:00 AM UTC.
- They still count. Each one gives 1 Unique Recruitment Charge and 1 Recruitment Mileage. The charge carries over to the next Unique or Fest Recruitment. The mileage does not.
Nexon’s other anniversary notices add more. The 5-Year Anniversary Special On-Time Gift gives 1,200 Pyroxene, 50 Advanced Activity Reports, 20 Superior Activity Reports, 5 Gift Choice Boxes, and 4,000 Expert Permits to anyone who logs in by November 15 at 2:59 PM UTC. The coupon code 5YEARSWITHSENSEI gives 600 Pyroxene and 5 Beautiful Bouquets until November 24 at 2:59 PM UTC, once the 5-Year Anniversary Kivotos Live has gone out.
What This Means for Players
Do not rush to use your own Pyroxene before November 10. The two gifts add up to 1,800 Pyroxene on top of the free pulls, so you can see what 200 recruitments land before you spend anything. Just remember to use the free ones before they vanish, because the deadline falls on the evening of November 16 in US time zones.
If you have been meaning to try the Steam version, the timing is good: the free recruitments are tied to logging in during the event, and Nexon’s notice lists no limit on newer accounts.
