Dagsion is the hub city in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, and the honest problem with it is that you will never have enough turns for everything. Weekly actions reset every Sunday, each chapter grants a finite pool of turns, and facilities keep expanding as your Renown rises.
The Facilities
The Arena. Train units, raising Skill EXP and Support at a cost in gold and Motivation, and gather intel on Heroic Games opponents. If you only do one thing each week, this is usually it.
The Shopping Arcade. Buy equipment, and use the blacksmith for repair and refining. The blacksmith unlocks at Renown level 4, covered in our weapon durability guide.
Temple Row. Volunteer for Temple Service to raise a god’s Blessing Level and earn battle boons. Holy days give bonus progress, so timing service to them is more efficient.
Quests. Townsfolk requests that pay both gold and Renown, which is the best combined return in the city.
Recruit. Persuade warriors to join, usually needing gifts, meals, and enough Support plus Renown. Our recruitment guide has the requirements.
Inns. Meals build Support and restore Motivation, and auto-activities passively generate EXP, gold and materials as turns pass. This is the quiet standout: it is the only facility that produces value from time that was going to pass anyway.
The exam proctor for certification exams.
The Pale Raven’s perch, where you switch between hero storylines and where feeding the raven can trigger “Perfect Bird Time.”
The Theatre, which unlocks later, the Divination Booth with Anatolia, and stable animals on Cai’s route.
Beyond the City
The world map of Dagda holds towns selling local wares and offering information and skirmishes, dungeons explored in real time with a four-unit squad, and resource-gathering nodes. Moving across it consumes time, so expeditions need planning rather than wandering.
You Are Allowed to Skip All of This
This is the part worth knowing before you burn out on it. The entire hub layer is skippable in favour of automatic stat gains.
On a first route, engaging with Dagsion is most of the game’s character writing and worth your time. On a second or third route, when you have seen the conversations and your supports carry over anyway, skipping is a legitimate way to get back to the tactics faster. Reviewers were mixed on the layer generally, so if it is not landing for you, the game has an answer.
