On September 25, 2026, Reissad Studio released Bodycam patch notes V0.8 #6, raising the Reissad Points cap to 50,000 and warning that this is likely the last v0.8 patch for a while. Bodycam is still in Early Access on PC, and the studio says its next release should be a minor or intermediate update rather than another weekly patch.
The Reissad Points Cap Goes Up
Reissad Points (RP) unlock weapons and attachments, so the cap matters to anyone saving up. The notes raise that cap to 50,000 and add interface indications when you hit the maximum, so you will now see when extra earnings have nowhere to go. The notes do not say what the old cap was.
The rest of the patch is fixes, several of them to problems players could feel in a match:
- Host migration overfill. Some modes could end up with more players than allowed after the host migrated, which the studio says was especially visible in 2v2 Wingman. Match reliability around host migration player limits was also improved.
- Weapon state. Fixes cover ammo visibility, reloads, swaps and dropped weapons, and bullet visibility now displays more consistently during mag checks, reloads and firing.
- Bolt-action rifles. Reloads no longer stop when the ammo pool runs dry, and a full magazine no longer blocks other actions after a reload.
- Settings. The Film Grain setting, made a toggle in patch #5, was not being applied properly and now is.
- Smaller fixes. Glock animations, weapon audio after a swap or drop, a Deagle bundle issue, AFK kick notices and server browser player counts.
Weekly Patches Are Pausing
The bigger news is in the closing note. The party system is not ready, though the studio says internal tests look better than last week. It describes V0.8 #6 as likely the last v0.8 patch, with only urgent fixes shipping from here while the team focuses on the party system, the anti-cheat, and “other stuff” it plans to reveal later. The plan for parties has not changed: a first version goes to an experimental branch so players can stress test it. No date was given.
What This Means for Players
If you have been grinding Wingman and Versus for RP, the higher cap means a big savings balance is safer than it was, and our weapons and attachments unlock guide covers where RP flows fastest. The ammo display fixes line up with how the game expects you to check your ammo by eye, and anyone who switched Film Grain off in our best settings guide should find that the toggle now actually applies.
Groups should keep using the workarounds in our play with friends guide for now. Last week’s V0.8 #5 patch explained why the party system is being rebuilt, and this update confirms it will arrive through an experimental branch, not a regular patch.
