EA’s FC 27 PC team says it is investigating stuttering, input delay and frame-rate drops on PC, and plans a batch of PC-specific fixes for a late October update, according to its PC developer launch notes posted on September 30, 2026. Some crash fixes have already shipped in Title Update 1.0.1.
What EA Says Is Wrong
The team lists the problems players have reported most:
- Frame-rate drops, micro-stutters and instability during some cutscenes and stadium sequences, “particularly around set pieces.”
- The Grounds, where a smaller number of players report frame-rate drops, loading issues and getting stuck in the hub.
- Crashes, with fixes in Title Update 1.0.1 and the most frequent ones next in line.
Two specific performance bugs are named: slowdown when Cloth Quality is set to Medium, and the Frame Rate Limit setting not applying after you switch monitors.
Fixes Planned for Late October
EA targets these PC improvements for a late October update:
- More camera tuning for mouse controls.
- A fix for mouse controls going unresponsive in “Be a Goalie” when the keeper leaves the box.
- A fix for constant vibration on Xbox Elite Series controllers.
- A fix for flashing on the FUT match intro loading screen.
What This Means for Players
Until the update lands, EA’s notes point to two things you can check yourself: move Cloth Quality off Medium if you’re seeing slowdown, and re-apply your Frame Rate Limit after changing monitors. If your Elite controller won’t stop vibrating, that’s a known bug, not your hardware.
