Gears of War: E-Day has 55 achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore: 13 story achievements across the five Campaign acts, a large Horde Siege set, a handful of Versus and one-off feats, and the long-haul Dead Serious (85G), E-Day’s version of the infamous Seriously. The story achievements list no difficulty requirement, but the two biggest awards need a full Campaign clear on Insane.
The list below is The Coalition’s official one, published on Xbox Wire on September 9, 2026, for Gears of War: E-Day. Descriptions are quoted as The Coalition wrote them; where a description is a joke rather than an instruction, we note what it most likely points to, and those readings are ours, not official. The Steam store page lists Steam Achievements, so PC players on Steam can earn them too.
What Achievements Unlock in E-Day
Per The Coalition’s multiplayer deep dive, every E-Day achievement also unlocks a Player Title for multiplayer. The Campaign achievements unlock base characters, and four Mastery achievements, Dead Serious among them, each award a Legendary Character Skin. The Coalition has not said which other three count as Mastery. Achievement rewards cannot be bought with Coins or Iron, so the only way to those items is earning the achievement.

The Act achievements unlock as you play through the story. The ones to track are Side Piece, Relax. I’m the Map. and Memories From E-Day, since a missed secondary objective or collectible means replaying part of an act. The Campaign offers up to five save slots, which makes a separate Insane run practical without overwriting your first playthrough. Four of these are class-specific: Turn It Up to 11 (Assault’s Sonic Disruptor), I’m All Amped Up (Breacher’s Adrenaline Injector), Spotted and Slotted (Marksman’s Pulse Drone) and Down, but Not Dead (Medic’s Stim Vaporizer). A few descriptions are riddles. Our best reading: Okay, Boomer. points to the chainsaw execution on a low-health Boomer, which The Coalition confirmed is new in E-Day, and I Am Heavy Weapons Guy uses a turret ripped off its mount, another new mechanic. The Ticker, Bilefrog and Battleship ones are not explained officially yet, so we will add confirmed methods after launch.
The Grind: Dead Serious and Got Your Wings
Two achievements define the completion time. Got Your Wings needs the final Re-Up: Player Level caps at 100 and you can Re-Up four times, which The Coalition describes as 500 total levels. Dead Serious stacks a 100% Insane Campaign, 25,000 Versus kills, max Player Level and all four Horde Siege classes at max level (30 each at launch). Plan on months, not weeks.
