Where the Steelbook Comes From
Konami’s official release date announcement spells out the terms: pre-purchasing the physical edition with select EMEA retailers includes the steelbook as “a hauntingly designed collectible available for pre-purchases only.” That makes it a retailer incentive in Europe, the Middle East and Africa rather than part of any edition sold worldwide.
The manufacturer’s own listing for the case describes a spot gloss varnish finish in PS5 format, in limited quantities, and lists availability in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Turkey and the Middle East. Horror site Rely on Horror reported that the bundle features new artwork from Screen Burn’s concept art team, and retailer listings sell it as a “Day One Edition – Steelbook Bundle.”
Can You Get the Steelbook in the US?
Not through a US edition, as far as official material shows. Konami’s announcement limits the steelbook to EMEA retailers, and Rely on Horror reported the bundle as a UK and European exclusive, noting that Amazon UK listed it with shipping to the US. If you import, check shipping costs and stock carefully, since Konami’s own wording is “whilst stocks last.”
After launch, the practical route is the resale market. Be wary of listings that do not show the sealed bundle, and remember that the steelbook is only a case: the game inside is the normal PS5 physical edition.
What the Physical PS5 Edition Includes
Konami’s announcement lists a Physical Standard Edition, and retail listings show it on PS5 disc only; the Deluxe Edition is digital only, and we found no physical PC release. Retailer listings for the Day One Edition list two pre-order bonuses, the CRTV Style: Rusted and CRTV Style: Beach Edition skins, the same cosmetic looks for the CRTV that digital pre-orders received. What the physical Standard Edition does not include:
- The Simon outfit, digital art book and digital soundtrack, which Konami lists as Digital Deluxe content.
- Early access. Konami tied the 48-hour head start to the Digital Deluxe Edition, and that window has passed anyway.

Is There a Collector’s Edition?
No. Konami has announced Standard (physical and digital) and Digital Deluxe, and nothing beyond that. Fan trackers that follow the series’ merchandise also list no collector’s edition. If one appears later, it would be a new announcement.
