To buy a lottery ticket in Inzoi, walk your Zoi up to a lottery stand in the city, click it, and pick the buy option; the ticket costs a few Mew and the result is decided when the draw resolves. The stands are a launch-era feature that no official patch note has touched since spring 2025, so the mechanics below are as reliable as the game’s word-of-mouth allows. This guide covers where the stands are, how a purchase works, what the karma overhaul did to the old “guaranteed jackpot” trick, and what a ticket can realistically return.
Where to Find a Lottery Stand
Lottery stands sit in public spaces rather than inside a dedicated shop. Early player reports from the launch build placed them in these spots, and nothing in the official patch notes since then lists them as moved or removed:
- Dowon: Central Park, near the gazebo and its vending machine in Garden Square, and Harang River Park between the food stalls by the overpass.
- Bliss Bay: inside Posey’s Surf Shop near the furniture display, and at Mackenzie Furniture Store beside the counter.
Cahaya, the third city added with the Island Getaway DLC in August 2025, has no confirmed stand location in any source we trust, so treat that city as unverified. If you would rather not travel, Build Mode (press I on a lot you own) has a lottery stand object under its Other category. Player reports put the price around 19,800 Mew, which is a lot for a novelty, but it turns the lottery into a doorstep habit. Placing furniture is the same flow as any other purchase, which our Inzoi buying guide walks through.
How to Buy a Ticket
- Move your Zoi next to the stand. The Skip to Schedule Event Location option under Game Options > Gameplay only teleports scheduled trips, so a stand visit is a normal walk: click the ground or the stand.
- Click the stand and choose the buy option (labelled “Buy a Lottery Ticket” in the launch build).
- Confirm. A small amount of Mew leaves your balance (5 Mew per ticket in launch-era reports) and the ticket goes to your Zoi’s bag.
- Wait for the outcome notification. Small wins refund part of the ticket price, mid-range wins add tens of thousands of Mew, and the top prize reported by players is a one-million-Mew jackpot.
A ticket also satisfies the “Buy a Lottery Ticket” urge that Zois with the Life of Abundance desired life occasionally roll, so it is worth a stop whenever that urge pops up.
One naming note: the developer’s own patch notes and its official cheat list spell the currency Mew, while most players (and our older guides) write it as Meow. Either way, it is the same cash balance.
What the Karma Rework Changed
The launch build had a visible karma score, and the best-known lottery trick was to reach “Best” karma, open the Karma Report and pick a “Win the Lottery” reward. That route no longer works the way 2025 guides describe it. The v0.4.0 patch notes from October 30, 2025 removed the karma score and karma icons from conversation options, deleted the “Zoi Karma Status” section from the Karma Report, and stripped the karma dialogue from City Management. In January 2026 the studio’s director wrote that karma is being rebuilt as an invisible value that “quietly accumulates behind the scenes” and functions like luck, nudging probability-based events rather than being spent as a reward.
In practice that means:
- Good deeds still matter, but you cannot read a number or cash it in. Our karma guide covers which actions the developer has said push it up or down.
- The developer has named gathering, fishing, business footfall and romance success as the kind of chance-based results karma is meant to tilt. A lottery draw is exactly that kind of roll, so a well-behaved Zoi should, per the developer’s stated design, be slightly luckier, though no odds have been published.
- The
resetkarmacheat on the official cheat list still exists, which confirms karma is tracked even though it is hidden.
The old advice about buying a ticket after a four-leaf-clover dream also comes from the launch build. The January 2026 post says good karma raises the chance of “good dreams”, so the link between dreams and luck is intentional, but whether the clover dream specifically still fires is unconfirmed.
Managing Expectations
The lottery is a diversion, not an income plan. A Zoi who needs money has better options in the current build: the v0.8.0 career update pays salaries daily and added freelance work, and businesses have been playable since December 2025. Our guide to getting a job is the reliable route; the lottery is what you do with spare change on the way home. If you simply want the cash, the official console cheat addMoney [amount] exists and is documented by Krafton, so nobody needs to grind tickets.
Also keep in mind that the official cheat list names three other “lottery ticket” objects (a Skill Lottery Ticket, a Need Freeze Lottery Ticket and a Fatness Lottery Ticket). Those are gag or buff items that can be spawned into the bag, not cash tickets, so do not confuse them with the stand’s product.
For every other money-related mechanic, the Inzoi hub lists our full set of guides.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a lottery ticket cost in Inzoi? Launch-era reports put it at 5 Mew per ticket, and no patch note has announced a price change. Check the stand’s tooltip before buying in case it has been rebalanced quietly.
Can I still use karma to win the lottery? Not through a menu. The visible karma score and its report rewards were removed in October 2025, and karma now works as hidden luck that can only nudge chance-based outcomes.
Where is the cheapest place to buy tickets? Every public stand charges the same, so the cheapest option is whichever stand is closest. The Build Mode stand costs a large lump sum up front and only makes sense as a convenience.
Do lottery winnings count toward money ambitions? Winnings go straight into the household balance, so anything that checks your funds will see them. Whether a specific ambition milestone credits a lottery win rather than earned income is not documented.
Is there a lottery stand in Cahaya? We could not confirm one from any official or reliable source. If you play in Cahaya, the Build Mode stand is the sure route.
