Pokemon Pokopia’s Expansion Pass Part 2 Has a Release Date

Dazzling Decorations, Part 2 of the Pokemon Pokopia Expansion Pass, comes out on December 9, 2026, according to the official Pokopia expansion page, which The Pokemon Company updated on November 4. It is a paid DLC for the Nintendo Switch 2 game, and it needs the free version 3.0.0 update installed first.

The Details

The date is the new part. Here is everything the expansion page confirms about Part 2:

  • Accessories for your Pokemon. You can wear accessories along with your Pokemon friends, the headline feature of Part 2.
  • New furniture and more Pokemon to meet and add to your town.
  • No new town. The Pokemon Company says plainly that Part 2 does not add one. That comes with Part 3, planned for 2027, which brings a new town to explore and rebuild.
  • Version 3.0.0 first. The free software update must be applied before Dazzling Decorations can be played.

There is also a progress gate. To start Dazzling Decorations, you need to finish two important requests in Withered Wasteland, “Raise the environment level!” and “Rebuild the Pokemon Center!”, plus Drifloon’s request, “Find a doll!”

Part 2 belongs to the same Expansion Pass as Part 1, Bubbly Basin, the underwater town that is already out. Pass buyers get a recipe for dynamic Ditto print blocks and wallpaper, and buying the pass by August 31, 2027, also earns a code for 30 rare Pokemetal ingots, sent to the email on your Nintendo Account.

What This Means for Players

If you own the Expansion Pass, you have about five weeks to clear those Withered Wasteland requests so you can start on day one.
